What's the right name for the (what I call) boots that go on the end of my fluke AVI ?
It's the small rubber parts that go over the exposed probes to insulate them to GS38. I've lost them and want to search for spares but am not having much luck.

They also sell the exact shade of blue nail varnish I use as security seal!

Made by The London Rubber Co. and sold in Gentlemens' hairdressing establishments everywhere.

I see they are subsidised up north Geordie, they cost a lot more here. Also haven't seen many 'Gentlemans ' hairdressers , they all seem to be unisex, and they don't ask if you need 'something for the weekend sir' anymore. In my case it would be 'something to remind you of the good old days Sir '.

The ones you were admiring in Sainsbury's today were a lot more that 3/9d!!! Especially the fruit flavoured ones that were free with the "fizzy spray". (Normally six quid)
