HI
Does anyone know how i would go about testing for earth continuity on a school.
There is some pipework close to the main DB but i cant find the earthing conductors at the main gas & water and its miles from DB.
Thanks
Mike

External Earth Continuity or Ze is normally done at the first accessable point on the installation. this is usuallt at the main D,B as Supply authoritys fuses ar sealed. Isolate the whole installation and disconnect the main Earthing conductor. Clamop on to the Conductor and Test Ze and PFC. Remeber to reconnect con

Dont worry about your MAin Bonding Conducter at the moment thay are tested using the long lead method which should have been your first test you did.

Do you mean Main Earth Bonding continuity? If so, find the main Stop Valves for water and Gas supplies and there should be an earth conductor within 600mm of the consumers side of these.
If not you may have found yourself another job.
