Ring main, socket used to be on the skirting board but it’s been raised up, instead of taking both legs into the socket they’ve joined the ring and took one cable into the socket. What error code would yous give this??

It’s a blanked off single box with the ring main connector blocked with the one 2.5mm coming off it into the socket aboveIf it is a single socket on 1.5mm minimum, or a double socket on 2.5mm minimum, and nothing else, and implemented professionally (good connections, proper junction box) then no code as it complies with the examples in Appendix 15 of the regs (page 505)
It is still not a good approach, but done properly it is not unsafe.
No flying lead onto the back box, and defos wagos are so much betterHave they earthed the blanked off back boxes because nine times out of ten it isn't, the cpcs are connected with the box left with no earth. I don't approve of unfixed block connectors and would replace them with Wagos.
