Hi all

this post is a follow on to my previous post that gave me some good info regarding pv solar installations. I have down loaded the new pv installation document and this has some good advice regarding installation and testing procedures. before i accept the work with the company installing solar systems and testing them i would like something clarifying. When i test do i fill in and supply a normal eic for the ac side and a seperate test and form for the dc side or is there a dedicated eic that covers both sides of the inverter. Sorry for sounding unsure but i want to be crystal clear with this before i make my decision.

Thanks again

Two separate sides of the equation, the normal ac installation certificate, the dc side has a specialist report

See pages 90 and 91-94 of the guide.

In addition there is a schedule of items that should be complied with (tick check list) - the Commissioning report, some of which relates to electrical elements, some structural, I don't see them in the he new guide perhaps someone will tell pme they are no longer needed, though I doubt it :)

download this http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=...=NXxNE9bTwjHFAZWqqWVy7g&bvm=bv.47534661,d.ZWU and you'll find them on page 51 - you'll recognise page 52 by then :)

We have created our own version that contains all the elements so it looks like a single report. fully compliant for both parts.
