Testing Voltage RCD

how's the best way to test for voltage with out tripping out RCD??

Where in the insatalltion are you testing the voltage and what method are you using?

If you are fault finding say a piece of equipment is not working you want to be sure you have power to the applaince. I use a fluke voltage & continutiy T140.

L & N terminals of the appliance you are testing

I have the same test lead and it's a pain in the backside, if you first test between L and N then put it between L and E it doesn't trip, do it the the other way around L to E first and off it pops.
