Hi all,

It suddenly occurred to me that i'm not 100% on how to perform tests with a motor in the circuit :-S damn so many things to remember for the 2391!! Wish it was open book :)

Any help appreciated

In effect, you don't test with the motor 'in circuit'.

You'll have a motor starter and test up to the supply side as per usual.

You can then test between the load side of the starter and the motor socket (if this is 2391-10 practical).

I would agree that the motor is by far the best part to replace. if it is powered and not turning then it is broken. Keep it simple!
