Rich.

Someone told me on my 2391 that when testing a lcm that all lights that are plugged in are classed as portable equipment. Is that true and is it ok to take r1+r2 and zs at the lcm

anything that is plugged in is not part of the fixed wiring and so should be disconnectede before testing.

Flex 7 is like KLIK box but a bit more "Smart" with dimmers light sensors PIR sensor available When testing tho it is helpful to have a spare lead with a plain 13a socket on a short lead rather than try n get probes in front of unit or having busbar floating around even for r1r2 Id have a spare plug made up to assist as the connections busbar portion isnt realy made for going out n in that many times Id unplug everything before testing and plug in once id finished as some of these sensors and switches wouldnt enjoy 500v up their bums and would be expensive and not readily available When plugging the items back in to flex7 system just plug items back in watch for "Split box" tho these can do 2 rookms from one box also take care unplugging the indicator cables( preferably dont unplug then) As for your question about PAT Btesting If I remember correctly Fixed lighting ie part of celing even though plugged in doesnt need pat tested im sure someonewill correct me
