Texecom GSM Dialer

Hello chaps.

I don't have access to the Alarms section so i am posting this in here.

A client has a Texecom Veritas 8 panel and wants to have a dialer. He doesn't have a phone line so GSM dialer it is.

Now i have spoken to Texecom who say that they don't make a GSM dialer for the Veritas 8 panel but they do for their Premier range.

Surely the dialer just has NO/NC contacts? Like any other dialer i have ever installed? I have tried Texecoms technical support to ask them if i can just use the GSM dialer mader for the 'Premier' range however 30 minutes later and still nobody had answered the phone so i gave up.

Does anybody have any experience with these OR has anyone fitted a third party GSM dialer?

I have installed a couple of videx gsm intercoms and like you said common and n/c or n/o are the norm so I can't see a problem tbh.

I have just fitted a GSM Auto Dialer from www.gsm-activate.co.uk Very simple to fit and set up and will work with almost any alarm panel including a Veritas 8. I hope this helps :smiley2:

Texecom GSM is a plug on board, this is why it wont fit Veritas 8.....so as above you will need to choose another make

FINALLY managed to get through to Texecom tech support who said that the 'Premier' model used the D-Bus plug which is why. Thanks for all of the replies!
