Texecom Premier Elite. EXP 1,1 tamper fault.

Good morning.

Fitted a texecom premie4 elite 64W over the weekend.
Only one problem and that is I have a EXP 1,1 Tamper fault that I am unable to clear.
Looking on various sites it points towards the commissioning jumper still being in the commissioning position.
Checked this and the jumper is in the correct position left and centre.

Any suggestions?

I have emailed Texecom the same question but just trying to clear up ASAP and move on.

I would loop out all tamper circuits at the panel, reset panel and if fault is clear then add one circuit at a time until you find the fault.

i always suspect the back tamper of the external siren. esp.if the wall is a bit uneven.

Tried both but it’s neither of them.

get meter on d.c. volts. + probe to bell +. - probe to 0V should read 13V. and - probe to tamper return also 13V.

If I recall correctly jumper on jp7 - left and center is commissioning mode. Remove it completely or put it right and center

The jumper was on left and centre not right and centre.
