He even explaind that it is quicker, cheaper and all round better for all involved....great guy....

I saw that too.

I think he was going a bit far by suggesting that no one should do any diy, even the simple jobs like painting.

I also expect that few will listen to him, even with the not so simple jobs, like electrics.

well said nick, but i am guilty on the tiling, decorating and small plumbing jobs i won`t step outside my abilities though shame the same can`t be said about the electrics, trouble is when the plumbing leaks they know they have a problem whereas when the electrics work even if its dangerous they think its pukka

billy is a grafter, and yes electricians are under estimated to there own fault i say. good workers always have work
