What are the thoughts of the forum on the dismissal of Jose, what do you think was the reason for him getting the Spanish Archer (elbow, the sack) personally I think it was the tiff between him and the team Doctor, thoughts.:wheelchair:

Agree it all went wrong from then.
I think it is a players revolt/backlash that has got him binned. After all if they want to throw a game they are more than able to do so & make it look as though it was poor skills that did it & not just wanting to loose.
Is today's game a corner turned though?

No matter what the "players" thought of him they are paid mega bucks to kick a bag of wind about for 90 odd minutes, you would have thought that "professionalism" would have superseded their own personal hang ups, but I guess not, still don't suppose Jose is to bothered ÂŁ25000 a week for doing sod all can't be bad, and us Sparkies are grubbing around for a decent wage, sad state of affairs IMO.

As a football fan this is the most exciting season for a long time with all the inconsistency, any one of at least 6 clubs could win the title this season and it's great to Leicester flying high at the moment. My team are away to Watford tomorrow and although they've definitely improved of late and had some big wins I'm not confident of victory tomorrow.:)

Jose would be very welcome at old Tafford as far as I'm concerned, Sick of Boring LVG :conehead:.
70% posession and getting beat by mediocre teams or winning 1-0 or bore draws if we're lucky.

I reckon it was to do with the lovely doc too. Jose said she didn't undertand the game.
Which was like saying he would risk the health of the players to get a result.
OK to think that, but JOSE said it. Hence Hazard turned from a talent to rival Messi and Ronaldo to a bloke that wouldn't be missed in your average pub team.
That's just my conspiracy thoery anyway :prrr:

The whole situation cannot really be explained, no matter what had gone on, or what players were playing up, Chelsea should never have been as bad as they have this season.

Saying that, something went on behind the scenes after the summer. You could see in the pre season games that we were all over the place, and, at the time, it just looked like we were trying to get match fitness back, but that didn't improve, and we were the same in the Charity Shield, which is when we started to think that it might not be a great season.

The doctor thing may have had an impact, but we were terrible in that game anyway, and there was evidently bad blood between them and it probably just came to a head.

As for Mourinho going, I love the bloke and he's given Chelsea the success that nobody thought would ever happen, but he didn't seem able to cope with this season, and if he had lost the dressing room, something that seems entirely plausible after watching them, then he had to go. I think he's just a bit too confrontational and aggressive with people and players sometimes, and I was think it's telling that he's never been anywhere more than 3 years.

Sad to see him go, but in a way, I'm not, and am actually glad to see him go. Something has evidently been fundamentally wrong with him in charge this season.

He was so far up himself, that was the problem, yes hes did good things, but thought no one could beat him.

I doubt we'll ever know what happened behind the scenes, but things, quite evidently, were not going to improve with him at the helm.

Yesterday, we played with a freedom that has been missing for nearly a year, and we actually saw some form from Oscar that has been missing for about two years. He was so so good when Mourinho joined, and he's just been shackled since then, hopefully Hiddink will let him and Hazard have the freedom that they need to thrive.

I'm also of the opinion that there may have been some discontent at board level in some of the players who have been sold. Lukaku and De Bruyne being the main ones. De Bruyne wasn't prepared to be benched for any game whatsoever, but Lukaku should have been kept instead of splashing out on Costa, someone who had just one good season.
