Don't know how many of you saw the item on Dragons Den with the lady with the magnetic draw rods for when you have drilled through a cavity wall.

Has anyone on here actually bought a set and the obvious question is....any good?

Yes the choc box did, that works, I had a job that I did a PIR on and there were 120 ish lights above a suspended ceiling connected by connector blocks, no tape no nothing, so I priced to install proper enclosed junction boxes so about 2 days work, got the job, discovered the choc box and did the job in a couple of hours. got to win some.

We have had a look at em mate in our wholesalers and i will tell yer something , no wonder they give you 2x sets of the magnets as they are CR-- .

I cant get my head round why the magnets are required, you need to tie the cable on somewhere so why not a coathanger / cable rod

Yer not kiddin, the magnets tie onto the end of the cable and its opposite magnet finds it in the bloomin hole, i am guessing here it may be ok for pullin a bell wire through, but don,t hold yer breath, anything larger forget it, its one of those tools that i could launch down the street quite easily.
