I've still got one of these, from 2008 though. Where 150% or so on RCBO's was still achievable.

You'd think something like this would be easy to get hold of. I mean there must be plenty of ex Mr Electric guys out there. I'd also like a gander at the ElecLocal price book. I just want to see for myself whether it's true that they're well inflated prices. Also just how they break tasks down. I've seen plenty of American flat rate price manuals, but never a UK one.

Weird, my path has never crossed with Mr Electric, why will there be 'plenty of ex Mr Electric guy's out there?

I used to work for eleclocal, worked for the franchised company in the south east.

You can't just leave it at that!

What was it like, what pricing structure did they use?

Why did you leave?

Yes Eleclocal are much the same as Mr Electric.

There must be a few Mr Electric guys out there. They could be people that have been employed by Mr Electric Franchises or even guys that owned a franchise that failed or they just gave them up. There are a few members here that have experience with them and plenty of threads about Mr Electric, so I don't think it's unlikely do you?

Widdler: I don't care how old the book is. Would you be willing to take some pics of a couple pages and PM or email them to me? I find it strange that you quote their hourly rates. I was under the impression that because they are American owned, they follow the flat rate pricing system that's big in the states. With flat rate there are no hourly rates (at least not shown in the price books). Tasks are listed with a one off price. In America electrical contractors offer service contracts, so each task actually has 4 prices attached to it.
