i was just wondering if its just me being a soft un or does every customer have morals and gratitude and trust but at the end of the job turns into a cmjvvmj !

A slightly funny story at my expense, a little off topic but still to do with being stung. Literally.
When I was school age it was discovered that I was allergic to bee stings and I developed something of a phobia about bees.

OK. A couple of years ago we were cleaning our back fence prior to painting it. A be landed on my arm and immediate panic struck. So I smacked it with what I had in my hand - yep, the bl00dy wire brush.....skin punctures by the dozen - and I don't if any one was a bee sting.
My wife, after she realised what happened, fell about laughing. It was funny I suppose.

Admin, be kind.......please.

Besoeker, I am a beekeeper, i wondered what had happened to my best bee. Same colour as it left the hive but looked a little like a cullinder.
I made it holy and sent it to heaven......

Please understand that I have no dislike of bees - just an irrational fear of them.
They are essential for pollination and the CCD in recent years is very worrying.
I hope it can be reversed.

Back on topic...
As for being stung in business - yes it has happened. I work for a large international corporation. We are encouraged - no that's too mild. Coerced into buying product from other parts of the group.

We make variable speed drive systems and many common parts like push buttons, indicator lamps, relays, contactors for example can be sourced from within the group. At about three times the price. If that doesn't qualify as being stung, I don't know what does.

On the A9 by an unmarked Police car - I was doing 97 mph

The last time I was in a hurry on the A9 I had been reliably assured there were no speed cameras.

Utter nonsense, One I didn't see until it was in my rear view mirror, one I saw too late to brake, and another was a mobile that I drove past cursing the campervan I was stuck behind.

I can only assume the first 2 were out of film or dummies.

some years later I now know better, not that it makes any difference as I'm always stuck behind supermarket wagons doing 55. ><

True. Although I'd hazard a guess that things like woodworm treatment are probably chemically quite similar? Don't know.
