'Static electricity' I told her
'is that caused by there diet?'

In a former life I employed a married couple (in their early thirties) in the packing department of my business. I could hear them arguing about something in the warehouse from my office. About 20 minutes later, she sticks her head round the door and says "Julian, you know cabbages. Do they grow underground?" Err, no. She refused to believe me and accused me of being in cahoots with her hubby. Bless her - lovely girl but prone to an awful lot of Dime Bar moments.

My Mrs been on at me to get the electric shower in the ensuite fixed for years. She said "why did you say it's unsafe for the kids to use but its fine for me to use it?"

I replied "because they're children and your an adult and children conduct electricity more"

She said "oh ok"

Nothing wrong with the damned shower "yet"
