ok.. i wanna be nic......ive worked for nic firms always for 20 years
ive done all their test and inspect
i pay the nic their fee for domestic installer
thieir inspector rings me and says i have 2 dates and ill ring you to confirm which one..and you,ll get confirmation buy post.
week before its due..no call to confirm..no paper work by post...no answer on the inspectors phone or even an answer phone.!!!!
so now if i cant make this date..ill have to pay for another!!!!
no matter they did not confirm the day time....in writing or on the phone..
elecsa........if you can sort out the council and the nhs im in.......................................................................................................................................................

Hi Vitoboy
You could phone the NIC and tell them whats happend. They will prob either contact the inspector or book you up with another one. Worth a try as its not your fault the inspector didnt follow this up but might be a genuine reason ie ill, not with them anymore etc.

i did phone them..they said no matter that they didnt notify me by post as they stated they would!
the appontment still stands and if i need another then i must pay for another.
no disscusion none
they even want me no let them know for sure if i will cancel the appointment so they can book some one else in and make another £400 quid while still charging me for missed appontment.
it all feels very.........unfair........unjust.....we can do what we like we have your money and you need us we dont need you.......which i guess at the end of the day is $£$&^*& TRUE.

What are the registration terms and conditions within the application pack you should have received, does it have time scales?

If not take it higher up the NIC chain.

If I were in your position and I paid by credit credit card, i'd be looking at getting the funds withdrawn and going to Elecsa.
