The old A, B & C Qualification

Im applying for a replacement certificate on city and guilds website,

Can someone tell me the exact title that would be on the certificate for the grade "C" (which i think was the highest grade back in the day)

Am i right in saying if you can show a grade "C" certificate to someone this will prove you have the A & B, as you cant get grade C without the a & b?

Do you mean the old 2360 "C" course mate???

I'll dig out my certs and have a look if you like.

the qualificataion was passed in 1972, so you'd be in your late 50's now..

2360 isnt that old is it?

I dont know when she first came out but I dont think it's the same course you're referring to.

I did mine in 99.

Just know as 'B' certificate City & Guilds will do a search for it but will cost approx £40

If you had the 'C' certificate did not always prove you had done the A & B as when I enrolled at college I was first put on the A cert course then was bumped straight up to the B cert as had a O level in engineering drawing

Think it was the C&G 236 part C or was it part 3 done mine 1989.

i did 236 in 87' the a&b was known as 1&2 then the technicians cert,might have been 236/3 or c tho cant remember,

Same as above 236 parts 1&2 then 235 course C passed 1982

Just had a look at my certs and it states 'Electrical Installation work (course C)'

with reagrds to 236,did anyone get a 236 1 certificate? a while ago like the op i asked for a copy of this as i presumed i lost it but c&g says it wasnt a cert course which i thought it would be as ive got the cert for part 2,am2 etc,i still have the letter from college with the results on,its says elec science-credit--inst theory-credit and am1,session 1987-88 but i cant remember getting the c&g cert for part 1,they still have £30 of my money if i can give them the correct cert title

Mine says part one electrical installation work, that was 1988/89

Hi you needed parts A and B in order to take C certificate, if you got a C certificate then it proves you had taken A and B courses
