Dosent say what prize was up for grabs in the competition.

A future lit by LEDs sounds nice. Especially in the case of street lights (iirc all prototype designs mimic a full moon night and adjust to dim/switch off when there is ample moon light), I hate that sodium yellow light :icon13:

I propose that before public bodies start buying these,
they should conduct a survey to find out if they last as long as stated.
yep, 20 years is about right for any public authority's survey/think tank to come up witha simple answer.
