It was a Pat testing day today in a workshop and I had just checked out all the appliances in the kitchen area ok and then came to the bad bit. It was already not clever as the kettle and microwave had previously been plugged into a custom built 2 way trailing socket.
Now it seems that the guy that likes to have a play with everything had plugged into that a 4 way socket that he had wired himself with 2 core lawn-mower cable, just so everyone could have the 2 toasters plugged in at the same time.
Needless to say it was taken away, before long he had searched me out and asked for his lead back so he could take it back home. He was advised and I was ignored but it was his property.
It livened up a dull day.
