I see the prices have come down over the last few years and also there are options that link to your phone or ipad. Are these any good?

What are your recommendations for a thermal camera for basic electrical maintenance work for someone who's on a limited budget??
 
One of the guys got one that plugs into his Iphone. He likes it.
 
I recently brought the flir c3. The resolution on the thermal side isnt great but when blended with a standard image it is easy enough to see whats going on, pretty easy to put reports together using free their software too.
