thingy to zero leads.....

a while back i was working with an electrician who had this thing that you could clip 2 test leads into to zero your meter. also you could clip the same device on your plug tester or socket & see at the earth pin and it would spring onto the live and neutral pins so you could zero that too.
anybody know what it's called and where I can get one from?

Think its a Fluke thing.

I just use my croc clips to do it though.

Or why not keep a piece of busbar in your tester case and use that?

At £30+ its not cheap for a bit of springy metal! It does help though!

For your plug tester just get a single extension socket and wire the terminals together.

You could use 2p to zero a 13A plugtop lead.

Just hold it between all 3 pins
