Hi guys, i'm a scottish 17th edition electrician and im thinking of going out for myself.

as i passed my 17th edition i am deemed competant to test and inspect however i am not an approved electrician.

i was just wondering what papers i would need to write up certification.

yeah im not sure about Scotland's qualifications.. all i know is that a scottish mate of mine moved down from scotland after qualifying and needed to redo most of his stuff... so i think its completely different.

yeah the qualifications are different but you would think they would at least have some equivelence with qualifications.

your not any less of a spark either side of the wall :p or is your electricity slightly different to ours hahaha!

anything at all mate domestic, commercial or industrial whatever i can get really.

Im just looking at finding out what qualification i would need for pat testing and signing offtest certificates.
