Evening Chaps,

I need some assistance with regard to a three phase load calculation.

Back story here is im fitting a new supply cable for an industrial three phase oven and need to know what the max load will be per phase to ensure adequatley sized cable is is fitted. The cable run will be 80 meters on ladder.

All ive been told so far is that the oven is 80Kw.

Am I correct in thinking the following formula is the one to use?

I = 1000× P / (3 × PF × V[SUB]L-L[/SUB])
