Hi I got given a Mock Paper for the Level 2 203 test and got stumped on a question

400v 50Hz 3 phase supply is connected to a star connected balanced load. the voltage is?

A.110V
B.200V
C.400V
D.600V

Iam not sure if its C or D any help would be much loved

well just think. on a 400v supply, where would 600v come from, paul daniels?

A poorly written question as it dosn't tell what you are ref' the Voltage between but i assume its between lines thus 400v as 230v would be to earth and not an answer given in the choices.

The only logical option is C.

darkwood is right. It looks like some of the question is missing. you should have been asked Line to Line or Line to earth
