is there a good use for time delayed rcd's any more.
they dont seem to have a point now were on the 17th......or am i wrong....again..

TT systems with methods of installation that don't require RCD protection at 30mA, say metal conduit for lighting circuits, or that new fangled cable that's like metal conduit with singles already inside...

I'm sure there must be uses for them in agricultural environments too...

So there's a couple of thoughts for you, :)

I believe that there will be a lot more use for them in the future

If you have any hanging around in the stock, hang on to them, because I believe minds greater than us will soon conclude that they have ****ed up big time, and that Rcd protection will revert to the more sensible model of the 16th

Hear hear!!

I can't stand the "lets stick everything on a 30mA RCD" regs and hope to hell that someone decides that enough is enough... Blame it on the politicians, as that's where I think most of the 30mA RCDs everywhere guidance has come from.
