Another thread I have replied to regarding being busy made me think.
Who is getting a break this weekend ( Bank holiday ) I am really trying to get Fri-Tues off but I can't see it happening, although I really could do with a chill out.
Anyone got any plans that don't involve electrical work paid or unpaid!!

I'm never really off. But I'm in the fortunate/unfortunate situation where my email is always live as is my phone. Including our personal land line. I can work around it.

Next week we will possibly have two little grand girls. Parents are trying to close on their new house.
And we are the back stop for the care of the little angels during the move.

Aged six and two. Very pretty.

We get them just a few times a year - it's a 200 mile round trip.
But a joy when we do.

Crikey, 200 miles? Mrs Trev was in floods of tears when the daughter moved out with the grandson to a place about ten minutes walk away
It's closer than the other grand girl. That's about a 700 mile round trip. And a bit off the beaten track. In truth, we wouldn't do it like that. We use it as stopping off point when we go to Scotland.

Off for the weekend but working bank holiday monday! I dont mind though, you get paid a bit more and why would you want to have the same day off as the rest of the population!!!

Im off until tuesday...well as long as I dont get any call outs

[ElectriciansForums.net] Time off

I was just going to ask how you do any form of electrical work with hands like that!! you would never be able to pick up a screwdriver.

Sounds like a good weekend Jeremy, enjoy yourself

Well I'm still at home and the phone hasn't rung yet!!!
But there's still plenty of time and I cant get through the entire weekend has I have got to go and price a job tomorrow morning, but that's not really working so I can cope with that.
But it just goes to show when you work for yourself unless you leave the country you can never really escape from work.
