Static caravans .

Just had a call from a static caravan park . Can I go and give a price ?

Customer has new home and wants extra sockets and a extract fan putting in .

My question is with the fan would one just drill and install like a normal fan or would there be pre fabricated

holes points for fans ? Any thing to look out for etc etc .

Worked for a firm that built park homes years ago, and there wouldn`t be any prefabbed holes for fan so you have to cut your own (normally thin ply inside and aluminium outer skin) and the wiring for the sockets was run underneath the vans and then up to each point, though I think they started covering the undersides with ply ,as for lights it may be pot luck, the ones I worked on had small access panels into the roof space but if theres no space above the ceiling the cables are just threaded through roof timbers to each point (They used to three plate at the switches IIRC)
