Thermometer stablised around 50'C in early-summer, late-afternoon sun, so 70'C, perhaps even 80'C seems quite possible in mid-summer, mid-day sun.

done 24kw today - does that sound good?
Nope! There's a whole load of things it "could" be but they are all highly unlikely - cables, connections, isolators. It's much more likely imho to be the inverter itself or the location. Is it tightly fixed to a solid wall with plenty of ventilation? You're not using it to keep your coffee warm when you work at your desk, are you!?! By switching the inverters, you've ruled out the possibility of a foreign object dropping inside.
I'm taking a risk here of being shot down, but here's a snap of one we did a while back in a loft. Notice the space for ventilation all around it. View attachment 11962
How does yours compare? This photo was taken before commissioning hence no warning labels etc.
Our customer's system is performing very well and we've not had any reports of noise although it is some distance away from the main living area.
Best plan might be to ask your installer to swap it for another brand and come to some deal on the difference in price.
2 strings =1 dc isolator they are 4pole derr and the clips man overdone it tried to do it neat but looks a mess
I'd use a seperate DC isolator for each string. Not necessarily a requirement, but I think it's a good idea.
Me too, especially as you should use 2 poles for +ve and 2 for -ve to reduce switching arcing
