Hi all.

Can someone tell me what kind of E system this is?

I think its TNCS but the 6mm to E Sleeve is confusing me.

I think the MET is connected to the N - hence TNCS.

Should I upgrade 6mm E.

Thanks for your replies.

It's my house and the 12mm T&E runs to a new DB in extension.

I did n't run this cable but did design and erect all circuits to secondary DB in extension and hooked up everything into Sub Main DB.

This is one of two installs for my NIC assessment ( novice ).

Once I found the problem I fitted 63a RCD as isolator in main DB with Henley Block.

Problem now is that 6mm E.

PFC at secondary DB is 700a. 100a Isolator at secondary DB.

700a x 5s / 115 = 13.5mm = 16mm needed.

Assessment on Monday so I'm stuffed.

Cut that 6mm and hide it, mind you there’s no seal on the meter so disconnect.

You put this forward for an assessment?

It’s time for a trip to B&Q very early Sunday AM and some very fast work to make it presentable. Pull your finger out and the situation is recoverable, just! Even if you have work very late.

Out of interest, who did put that 6mm in?
