Hi all,
Just a quick one. Forgive me as I am not a domestic electrician so do not see many household TN-S cut outs.
Is it or was it normal practice to group a portion of the SWA of the incoming cable straight into the m.e.t. It's just the total CSA of the SWA looks significantly smaller than the16mm main earthing conductor. Haven't performed any tests as I've just noticed it in my mates new house and don't have my megger to hand.
It's probably fine just curious really to see if this is/was normal practice.
Thanks
