Guys
Short of cutting the seal on the service fuse can you advise what the type is, the head itself is oblong about 150 x 100 with the fuse at the top with the main earth coming out of the side,is it the 88 or the 1361?

And on occasion if you were to be so naughty as to break the seal and have a look you may find the fuse has both BS88 and BS1361 written on it!

I thought you are not allowed to cut the DNO seal, is it not possible to obtain the information you require by enquiry

if you want to spend 2 hours on the phone and get nowhere, then , yes, it's theoretically possible. in real life, forget it.

Oh yes fully aware of that mate just playing devils advocate,
In the real world we have to work for a living,
However of course I would never remove a cut out

It could be a C&G question

What's in the Box ?

(a) BS 88-2
(b) BS 1361 - II
(c) BS 88-3
(d) BS 1361 - I

You've got a 25% chance....

Without pulling the fuse, I'd go for (c) personally
