to cheap cooker install ???

Guys,

how do i go about pricing, am installing a new cooker supply at present and thought around £220.00 was o.k this includes 10mm 15metres of t & E and other parts all came to £60.00 and £160.00 labour however have now got to go back to finish off job here is what needs doing.

Lift floor in back bedroom and feed cable down to kitchen area and then across upstairs hallway and down to cu in downstairs hallway. Chase wall to fit cable and install d.p switch then chase down to under work top with cable that goes to cooker outlet. have taken down coving, shirting boards and have got to make good on all. I just feel that i have now gone in too cheap. Have now also got to replace big loft boards for bedroom as they were a pain to get up so i had to smash them up to get them out

just don't seem to get the pricing right

that sounds ok price wise

I would suggest buying a cheap circular saw for those floorboard in future

the thing i worry about is cutting though cables, pipework and won't it cut through the joists

what you do is set the skilsaw blad to the depth of the flooring

I would say about 18mm

the pipes and cables should not be tight against the bottom of the flooring and if you slightly damage the to opf a joist won't really damage it struturely.
don't forget plumber notch the joists for thire pipes and in ye olde days we use to notch the joists
