Having now been a member of this and other sparky forums for a couple of years now, its time to have a moan AT YOU LOT. And you know who you are!!
This goes out to all sparky's that like to moan, slag off, ridicule, take the "£$% out of......sparks who are trying to learn what i think is a GOOD trade.

Having been a qualified electronics engineer with 3yrs at college it still took 10yrs+ to learn the trade with experience, help, assistance and training along the way. AND I AM STILL LEARNING IT NOW!!
TODAY, after 4 years of training i am a qualified spark (2330 ,2391 ,17th )all to level 3. Also 5yrs as a sparky's mate.
WHICH means something YES!!!!!

I do not think for one instant
other people like me and myself know everything and wont do for the next 10 years......COLLEGE DOES NOT TEACH YOU EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!
SO... when other people and myself put questions on these Forums its because we are unsure, need confirmation or assistance because we DONT KNOW EVERTHING.......yet anyway.

AND i for one would like to do things correctly which is the idea of these forums i think???????

SO TO ALL THE SPARKS THAT LIKE TO DEGRADE, BELITTLE, SLAG OFF OR GENERALLY BE UNHELPFULL.
BACK OFF

you bunch of unhelpful &%$£

You say you are a member of other forums if the're better in your opinion why are you back?
You come on here reeling this off which in all effects is trolling (The forum looks grimly on trolls- ask biff) if you have an active grievance with any member then use the report button..

Starting such a thread using symbols for obviously banned words is still incite to swearing also against forum rules.

If you have as i suspect had a bad experience on here trry be the man and rise above it and ignore it - biting will only send the thread in the wrong direction and could see the wand of disobedience waved.

IMHO if you jump on here with such an attitude issue you seem to have you will generate negative responses why not ignore the negative replies or report them and praise those that help... unfortunately i can't see this thread lasting long enough to satisfy your frustration.

Basically DW has said it all. The fact of the matter is that people expect the answers to their vague and in-concise questions. If members stated their qualifications and experiences when asking their questions then the replies would reflect this.

I'd agree with darkwood here. I suspect that members don't make sufficient use of the 'Report Post' button. If there are enough reports about postings by particular member, then the mods have more ammunition to take action.

Members will help out other members who give good descriptions and clearly have a good idea what they are talking about! I'm more than happy to help anyone who asks for help who have done the donkey work and are a few calculations or whatever wrong! I will not help nobody's who want everything doing for nowt! I will not help people who ask about the basic regulations! Basically this forum day to day is full of idiots and unfortunately mate you now come under that bracket in my eyes so I'll keep them peeled for your next useless post. And politely ignore it and I hope other members do to.
