I'm not getting your query, flex is to be treated like any other cable if used as hard wiring thus cable calcs used or do you mean an extension lead/reel?
Think he means flex used with appliances Irons, kettles etc

Thank you for your response you've read it correctly , cheersI take it you are talking about flex off FCU, to fixed loads,no distance required after bs1363 fuse, the norm is 3 meters , bearing in mind csa of flex and vd.
