to NAPIT or not to NAPIT

Is anyone here with NAPIT. I so what was their interview process like?

Hi dma.electrical,

I joined Napit on a just 8 scheme as I am only a very part time electrician as I was working in college the rest of the time.

I have had some very nice things said about Napit and my experience with them has shown them to be very good and helpful. It is really up to you as most have strong points as well as weak. I like the books that the NICEIC do and the videos I have seen by Tony Cable are very good. NICEIC are probably more known to the customer and I guess really it is down to whereyou live that could make a difference.
Hopefully some of the other guys on this forum will give their views and help you a bit to make up your mind. I would suggest you check them out with a few questions and see the level of response, afterall its your money that they will be taking.

To be honest my experience with napit so far i think they fall well short i had assessment as long as you know your stuff your cool they cant ask you anything you dont already know and even the assessor are human they make mistakes the questions were easy and some stuff he said i corrected him and he then asked qualifications had a chat about best place to eat indian food in bradford lol and thats it been 6 weeks still aint got my identity badge lol once they get the money off you go lol to be honest i just think all of them are a waste of time but you cant beat them so you got to just pick a scheme burn money off you go lol

I think they are pretty good, assessment was fairly easy as long as you have your paperwork in place, the PIR and EIC certs are pretty good aswell got a bit more information on them than NIC ones.

Should give them a ring to see what the delay is, I think we got all the stuff within a fortnight.

hi thanks i did ring ended up being they sent is to a wrong address lol well i got it in the post to day so all is cool lol

No they don't. It is well know amongst Napit members that their certs are brown stuff.
