if you are getting those call out at overtime rates you're probably earning more than many

the hours are including 1.5/2x hours so total is around 32 hrs paid, can go up/down tho 32 is the average,
the thing is im hearing alot of,my mates a spark and is earning £xx working in(insert any town/city) loads of overtime etc, need sparks as cant get them etc paying top doller etc etc im going back to being a spark etc..

so i take it its not true then??
cheers

Think it probably depends what area your in. I would imagine London in pretty busy the now with the olympics coming up, theres a scottish company i seen advertising for sparks to go down to london to work so id say sparks are in demand down there. To be honest if i was on £12 ph, car, phone, tools etc id bite your hand off for it no kidding. Im making a pittance on pricework, using my own car no expenses, no pension, nothing. the grass isn't alwayts greener m8, id probably stick where you are for the time being

dont overestimate the level of work in london the olympics is nowhere near the saviour people hoped for. theres many out of work here too and a lot more cheap labour and chancers getting work to save the money mens pockets

Stay where you are as long as you can stand it would be my advice, Done some of that call out in the early hours stuff, very tiring, wears you. but needs must.
