Toilet Light Fittings??

Does anybody think I should use a sealed unit light fitting in a toilet. There is no danger from steam in any way. Its in a supermarket and its not a public toilet.

What find of lamp will be fitted?
Going to be a bit of a pain changing a lamp if the unit is sealed, so it might be an idea to use a flourescent.

Well if i was fitting one i'd use a ROBUS dome light 28 watt high frequency

Not me , i use them for passage ways toilets they are rated to IP65 2 Year warrenty twist the dome on and off ideal for the job and the dont look like an industrial fitting

I like those robus light fittings too. easy to mount and change lamps on plus IP rating good so no issues. Also can use in commercial and domestic since look ok.

a toliet cubicle on its own is not classified as a special location , but it is prudent to use fittings with a ipx4 rating or covered by a 30 ma rcd
