Watch out for this one. Its a fraud. Goes something like this:


Hi There,

Please kindly accept this as an enquiry to work on a 2 storey detached project.

I have gone through your business website and I like your portfolio and what you do.

I would like to engage your services, expertise and products for the project.

Kindly let me know by return email if you would be interested to tender quote?

I look forward to your prompt reply so I can send you the scope of work and project details.

You will be sent a reply with a PDF that links to an alleged secure document service. Don't open it. Same email address has been used in New Zealand in attempt to scam lawyers over conveyancing services. email of sender is [email protected]

I had this today but the wording has changed slightly:

Hi,

I would like to engage your firm services, expertise and your products a detached house project.

Having viewed your website, I like your profile and portfolio.

I can provide a complete scope of work.

At this stage we would like to know if your firm can assist and what the estimated costs would be for providing such a service?

I look forward to your prompt reply so I can send you the scope of work and other information you require.

one of my staff half fell for this. It asked for the email password to log in to the file attachment, which they luckily weren't daft enough to supply.
