Now I know some people think our friend Tony is a bit of a grouch,but I have just come back from a brilliant trip to Harrogate. Tony decided he would go as well and decided to stay over,so seeing as I was going up as well he booked a twin room and invited me to stay over,an offer which I was pleased to accept.He then suprised me further by picking up the tab for the stay,which was most unexpected.He will probably be a bit embarrased by me posting this but I just wanted to say a big thank you to him and let everyone know what a real gent he is.Tony I owe you one mate,thanks once again Phil.

plenty of grumbling about sleeping in strange beds and nocturnal forays outside for a smoke (no smoking in the rooms) plus sitting in the bar shooting withering glances at a group of noisy young pups who'd had too much to drink.God I'm getting old.lol

Got to say I have the utmost respect for Tony and would love to meet up with him for a few beers.
