I want to level 3 as i've done the 2330 level 2 and am i right in thinking this is the last year to do it before it's all rolled in? think i might have been too late umming and ahhing as i've had to weigh it up with work and am now having serious regrets as it feels like a waste. what are the course fee policies? i managed to get the course funded by the labour government but am I right in thinking this has changed?

couple people in my course are over 19, you have to pay arround ÂŁ8/900 i think if your over 19,

you can get funding but i have no idea how (im under 19 and not working so its free)

Last registration date for the Level 3 is end of July 2012. You should be able to get partial/full funding for this course. You need to enroll before the end date, and I would get your name down early as the places may be limited. If you are working you may get this fully funded via an apprenticeship.

think if your on JSA or employment support allowance you can get some funding all other funding is gone and no other benefit qualifies yo for funding i think
this is for over 19s as for under 19s apprenticeship is the best route

Ypou would have had to enrol before march 31st jsut gone to get full funding as a adult some are paying ÂŁ800 some ÂŁ1600 or more which is a complete sacm for the course they are delivering

when i said 8/900 at my college this is for 1 day a week

its a complete scam how much they charge you, you dont even really do any practicle at all

you pay ÂŁ800 to spend 90% of your time in a class taking notes

yeah mate so far my experience of 2330 is its a bit of a mess about jsut given handouts and half the time end up doing nothing i had learned 2391 in this time i have been on lv3 and learned far more
some in the clas si am in have paid ÂŁ800 some ÂŁ1600 and the tutor reckons since the funding got slashed then it should be around ÂŁ2000 and this is for 2 evenings 3 hrs at a time lots are complaining already and i thought it would be a lot more in depth

i bet your teacher is a former electrician though

mine dosnt fully understand what he is teaching, he used to be an engineer. i lost confidence in him

when we had a few tests on monday to see how much of lvl2 we remmeberd (got 70,92,92 % in the tests)

after the last test we had a different teacher covering us, an american that taught me before i swapped classes last year

he told us how to work it out and the teacher that had been trying to teach us got it wrong, come on teach resistivity isnt that hard
