Too Much beer..

Right come on guys.. Who's going to admit on throwing a sicky due to too much beer..

Self employed now so not much of an issue well apart from the obvious letting people down.. All day session last Sunday which meant i sacked off Monday due to being far too ill after the Newcastle game

No we have our own regs (SANS 10142-1) for domestic installations.

just looked them up have you lived there all your life or worked from both, I am just being nosey and wondering if regs about the same without having to read them

I've never worked to the UK regs only to IEC, USA, and South African. Most African countries I work in have either adopted the SANS or IEC regs.

cheers I ask because my old dear lives in spain and first holiday I had there was putting wiring/board safe and I dont think there is any regs you go on there, expected SA to be the same for no reason I can come up with

SA is similar to the UK in that the regs are all there and pretty well written but there's just a lack of enforcement. I haven't much experience of Spain but what little I have I found it was far worse than most African countries. That said is was about 15 years ago I was last there so things might have changed for the better nowadays.
