Hi all. I'm coming towards the end of my 2330 Level 3, and mid way through my NVQ Level 3 aswell, thinking about booking up the 17th Edition for beginning of the summer? How much is involved? I have my written exams left to do and will be sinking my head deep into books and notes for them, but will I be needing to knuckle down with prep for the 17th? Or is it genuinely nothing major? Heard a few people say it's easy, but you not what sparks are like!

Any other pointers with regards to the 2382 much appreciated. How much am I likely to be looking at? I live in sunny Southampton so if anyone knows of a good place to go in the Hampshire area that would be much appreciated aswell.

Thanks in advance for any info/help.

most colleges run the 2382 as evening courses, 12 weeks, 1 evening a week. cost around ÂŁ250 including exam.

Do you need the 17th edition?
I asked this question as I passed exams that were based / taken on the 17th edition of the regs and was told it was not nesessary, as the 17 was an upgrade if you passed on an earlier edition.
was this correct

the 2382 is nothing to worry about. Its all about finding answers in abook so would not worry about it. Personally i think its a right waste of time as I had plumbers on my course with no electrical back ground and they were passing.
