Anybody thinking of using toolstation don't bother! Their service is dire, they advertise next day delivery but I have been waiting a week now for my order. When questioned they simply said that they do not guarantee next day delivery, but if you look in their catalogue, or on the website its clearly stated. I don't seem to be able to get any sense from them, all I get is tomorrow, tomorrow. Well as we all know tomorrow never comes, the same as their parcels!!!

I've learned my lesson, stick with Screwfix!

i just go into the shop!!! know them ok ish to blag bit of staff discount!!

but on other hand they are a LAST resort!!! they are expensive and i can get much cheaper better quality components from wholesaler!!!

The post has been all over the show from christmas. Been the same for me for all orders from different places. Settling down now though.

Disagree with the negative comments regarding TS, they are consistently 10 - 20% cheaper than Screwfis and unlike Screwfix all items are in stock. Not a fantastic range yet but they are expanding. Remember the owner of Toolstation is the same guy who started Screwfix before he sold it.

Have to say I no longer use Screwfix who have got worse and worse my local (Gillingham Kent ) never has any stock or 3 when you want 10 ie was after 10 MK double sockets and had 3 in stock. Where as I have started to use Toolstation a lot more

1 They always have stock
2 They have aminimum £10 spend on Mail order which means I often get parcels sent to site and always come next day.

Screwfix have the brands where as Toolststion tend to have less.

Never had a problem with Toolstation either. Everything ordered by 5pm always turns up the next day. When anythings missing or bust, the alway have sent out replacements. They do MK cheaper than any wholsaler near to me.

And its all free delivery

Yep another vote for TS the prices I pay are the cheaper than edmunsons like for like and that includes dely and vat one BIG disadvantage of wholesalers is it depends on who you know and getting someone on the phone who knows a RCD from a KFC is difficult

KFC, Aint that a switch fuse?

Another vote for TS, ordered some bits from them and it all turned up the next day. They are cheaper than Screwfix (but then that isn't hard) and on some things cheaper than my local tlc-direct. Plus with the free delivery even if they are slightly more expensive i'm lazy so will always go for the option where someone brings it to me!
