Hi,

im going to hospital in the morning to have my last wisdom tooth out.

it was so brutal last time, I can't say as I'm looking forward to it, but on the us side, I've ordered a dartboard , so hopefully it will arrive whilst out and can play when I get home!

Must be deep if you need to go in for it. I was lucky, got all four out in one sitting at the dentist. Spitting blood for days though.

detists dont like to remove bottom wisdom teeth as they have s hook on them and you sometimes need to cut the gum to get it out, I think dentists prefere more straight forward stuff these days.

Electrochem, I've heard the Aussie way of extracting teeth. A dozen Tinnies then take a dive off a second floor balcony. Teeth come out sweet as a nut. Lol.

I was the same i got three out at once with no laughing gas. It wasn't that bad however, i did bite the dentists finger at the second tooth and then i managed to elbow the trainee dentist in the boob on the last tooth. It took about a week to recover.

Well i got there at 10am, and was back in the car at 10.30am, i have had all four out now, the most painful part is where he injects you in the back of the mouth, that really hurts.

The tooth came out really easily, yeah ok, there was quite a bit of tugging around, but the last one broke in half.

No fun, I had one pulled in the chair, 3years ago deep as ......, so close to the nerve, took the lady 15mins to get out.

The last one, the bloke was taking ages, I'd say 20 mins or do and then it broke. It had a big bend on the bottom, but this one came out quite easily, it still hurt though.

i had 4 teeth out and gum cut to pull it down with a chain.

it wasnt too bad, when i woke up at the orthodontist i said yes im fine got 500 yards down the road and was throwing up blood they didnt do a good job stopping the flow while i was out

Has the mouth thawed out yet. I remember i couldn't even speak after it, i just nodded at receptionist to pay and the same when i was in the chemist.

As a word of caution you should try and avoid smoking a mate of mine smoked afterwards and ended up with a dry socket

Had my 2nd one out 3 weeks ago (only had bottom 2). First one popped out no bother last November. Second one was a complete farse. Gum had to be cut, took 20 mins to get it out and then took the guy another 20 mins to do the stitches. He right messed them up as my gum has formed into a bit of a weird bump! The stitches were the worst part though, constantly feeling like there was food stuck in my mouth for 2 weeks.

Arh well all over now, and all 4 wisdom teeth have been put in....sorry out....!!!!!

they do, they unhinge your jaw to make it easier, thats why you end up with a sore jaw

Sounds like I was lucky!
When I was about 10, I had a load of dental work done at the front, and at the time, they worked out there wasn't enough room for my Wisdom teeth.
So they pulled a load of ordinary back teeth to make room for them when they came up.

Not necessarily, i just had to "open wide" he was complaining that i had the smallest mouth he had ever seen.

It was a friday afternoon and for some reason there was a young trainee dentist who was observing me to see how it was done. The two of them were actually lying on my chest (my right rib against his right rib and my left rib against her left rib) and looking into my mouth.
