hello fello sparks i just had a fone call frm a fella frm telcom commuications askin me if i had advertisin in place, i asked him where he got my number frm cos all my adverticin states im tps registered , he said he had been on the niceic website n got me number frm there, he quickly got off the fone wen i told him lol unbeleavble it realy gets up my **** havin canversers beggin for money, im not sure if the niceic will let me put tps on there site, how can i get tps registered proper to stop these muppets ringin me all the time???

I queried someone about this and was told that being tps registered doesnt count if you have been in touch with them yourself at somepoint. For me its a double glazing agent who calls every 6 months after I got a quote from them over 5 years ago. Also tps only covers calls from U.K. based companies.


Did you know that there is a form of tps for junk mail as well? That has saved my postie alot of wasted time.

Do what i do when they call say hello let them start talking and then put the hone down not on the hook but next to the phone, go and have a nice cup of tea and a biscuit knowning that they cant call anyone else because you havent hung up LOL

Do what I do mate. Invite them round. Make an appointment. At a time when you have nothing to do. And I mean NOTHING!
Get them round, keep them at yours for ages then when theyve finished politely tell them....

"Now you know what its like to waste peoples time on the phone. Im not interested. Never was. Take care".
