Hi,

I am currently looking into enrolling with Trade Skills 4U on there 14 week level 2 & 3 diploma (city & guilds 2365)

I have managed to source work with an electrician so I will be able to get some hands on experience. The course is
2 weeks on 2 weeks off, during my 2 weeks off i'll be working with the electrician.

I am finding it hard to find many reviews on this course and was wondering if people found them and the course any good? I am a bit worried ill find it hard to digest all the information in one hit.

I am 100% new to the industry so would be a complete beginner. I am hard working though and pretty practical.

I would prefer to learn at a college but due to my age and need of an income I can't wait 2/3 years to get to this level.

Any advice or feedback would be great - thanks

Hello there,

2365 is theory based, so you will want to make sure your electrician understands your beginner level and hopefully gives you work that will help you develop if you are planning on training so quickly.

TS4U are a very professional setup (I am not affiliated with them) and they will have created this course in a way which they consider to be achievable. You will need to be prepared for a large amount of information to take on board, they will most likely want you to study and develop from home a little if they are planning on doing the course in this time frame.

If and when you enrol, apply for the trainee area of this forum and some excellent guys in there will be more than happy to go over things with you and keep you moving forward.

JIB Electrotechnical Certification Scheme (ECS) Level 2 and level 3 2365 question
Technically yes but you will need liability insurance if you are doing this as paid work and that is where you might have issue.
