Hoping this may boost my chances as not having much success at the moment looking for a job role with my qualification.
I had a total career change and trained off my own back for my City & Guilds Level 2&3 Diploma 2365 Electrical Installation and 18th Edition. But now I need a job so I can build my experience and knowledge. Ultimately to fully qualify. Preferably looking for full time position and ideally with someone or a company who would want me to stay on permanent however also open to temp work to build myself up.
The quick info:
My names Dave, I'm 38, Based in Borehamwood, Herts
Full driving Licence held and willing to travel
Own tools & some PPE held already
Qualifications: City & Guilds Level 2&3 Diploma 2365 Electrical Installation, 18th Edition
Current Jobs: Labourer for a property services company & part time railway operative
Skills: Previous retail sector and current domestic site labourer have given me great customer service skills and client rapport. Used to working under pressure (I know everyone says this but I don't think I've ever had a role where there weren't either strict timescales or high targets to meet) Quick to learn and open to learning, I've spent the last year learning on the job a range of domestic construction techniques they unfortunately do not cover electrical installation as much as I'd like and need in order to progress.
Thanks for taking the time to read all of that, if you need any further information please give me a shout.
