I did bond them. Pikies nicked all the copper tape!

Could have been worse, in Sheffield they nicked the track as well!

Any way who put you in charge of the job?

Hi, What country do you want the voltage for?
Christchurch, Wellington and Auckland NZ Trams (Street Cars) all use 500v DC. O/head height is 20 feet (or 6m). Wellington Trolley Buses also use 500v but of course have 2 poles.

Only the N side of the lamp would be at 0v if you went further along the element the voltage would rise.
