Trapezodial Roof

Hi, I've been asked about a couple of trapezodial roof installs. The trouble is I can't get any definiate information on how to fit it.

I've seen all the different manufactures products on offer, but I'm still unsure on where abouts they should be fitted.

The roofs I'm looking at are the trapezodial sandwich panels with Z bars in between. I've seen the fixings and speed rail that screws straight into the top panel but I'n concerned about the wind uplift they may cause the top sheet to come loose over time.

Please could somebody advise me on this matter, they're lots of these installs about so someone must know!! I've only fixed to domestic roofs so far.

Mage Solar do a good system for trapezoidal roofs and it is tested to 0.5mm sheet thickness. I'd advise giving them a call.

yep ditto that. they'll give you full support for all your calcs as well.

although i would try mage sunfixings who are actually slightly different to mage solar i think....

Oh yeah, that's who I meant.....

they sell the same stuff, but from what i gathered at eco build, sunfixings know their mounting kit, mage solar were more interested the panels and inverters.
