Hi, anyone out there have any experience in fault finding/ repair of trianco Aztec units, I have been to one that is cleverly concealed behind an immersion at high level, I have managed to cut an access panel in the kitchen to get a sight of the main PCB, the main fuse is blown on this and I have been advised by manufacturer to replace the PCB, they are ÂŁ290+ per go, I don't really want to put another unit in without knowing that whatever blew it up in the first place will not do it again. my bright idea was to somehow separate and then energise the elements and the pump so that I could prove the system works as its a new ish build and strangely the builder is nowhere to be found. and I don't know if it ever worked.
Thanks in advance

David

Had these PCB units go faulty on these type units before - typically burning out. They are quite popular with our local authority in houses that don't have mains gas put on to Economy 10.
Could have been a bad connection or faulty element. I'd megger all elements, pump etc before ordering and installing new PCB.
Sounds like a good job given the easy access left by the builder for maintenance.
